Dynamo 19: Roadmap for the Region’s Tech Sector

20 Jun 2019

Thursday 20th June 2019, University of Sunderland

EARLY BIRD TICKETS AVAILABLE UNTIL 2ND MAY 2019!

For the sixth year, Dynamo is delivering its annual conference to showcase the IT & tech sector in the North East. With the title ‘Roadmap for the Region’s Tech Sector’ this year’s event will focus on what is important in the next 5 years for you, your organisation and the tech sector in the region. We want to find out what the biggest challenge for the tech sector is in the North East and how Dynamo can play a part in resolving this.

The conference attracts 350+ delegates from the region’s leading and growing IT and software companies, local councils, specialist professional services, Universities and other related industries and the programme will consist of:

  • Breakout sessions themed around our cluster work (Sessions to be announced w/c 29th April)
  • Dynamites Hall of Fame – Lightening Talks
  • Emerging Tech Panel – chaired by PROTO
  • Innovation Showcase Panel – chaired by Ignite

We are delighted to announce our Headline Sponsor once again is:

PROGRAMME

Call for Papers now closed – Sessions to be announced w/c 29th April

The conference title: ‘Roadmap for the Region’s Tech Sector’ will be the central theme for all the sessions across the day. We invited our Dynamo members to be part of the day, by curating and delivering sessions for our audience. Sessions will be curated by our members, but other contributors can be invited to participate in the sessions.

We asked our members to suggest their sessions focusing on what they feel is important for the region’s tech sector in the next 5 years. What is the biggest challenge for the north east tech sector? What do we need to invest more in to ensure we are a national and international player?

We will be linking the content across the day back to our cluster activity at Dynamo.
