Celebrating the most innovative businesses in the region, we’re launching the inaugural North East Innovation Awards to take place as part of the programme for VentureFest North East 2018.
We know regional businesses are the driving force behind transformative innovations and we’re searching for some of the most interesting and impactful examples.
If you’re doing something amazing, or know a business that is, take part by nominating in the below categories. It doesn’t matter about size or turnover, we know businesses of all sizes are doing exciting things. Whether it’s a new business product, service or something that gives a competitive edge, then be sure to nominate for free!
Innovation Champion – in partnership with Haines Watts
Innovation doesn’t happen by itself, it needs great people and great support systems. If you know someone who is going beyond their usual role to help support innovation in the region, they could be our Innovation Champion!
Manufacturing Innovation Award – in partnership with Reece Innovation
If you’re saving costs, quickening turnaround or using innovative techniques to become more competitive, then we want to hear about it.
Energy Innovation Award – in partnership with Engie
Innovation in the energy industry has never been more important. We’re looking to celebrate businesses that are making a difference by changing the way we view and use energy.
Healthcare Innovation Award – in partnership with CPI
With an ageing society, healthcare innovation is critical to ensure we’re all living healthy active lives for longer. If you’re shaking things up with innovative products, services or technologies, tell us about it.
Digital Innovation Award – in partnership with Jumping Rivers
We’re looking for businesses that are disrupting business or society with innovative new digital solutions that make the most of the latest technology.
Innovation of the Year: Delegates’ Choice – in partnership with the North East BIC
You’ll have a chance to vote on the day at VentureFest North East for which of our Innovation Showcase finalists you think demonstrates the most inspiring and transformative idea. Be sure to visit them on the day and cast your vote.
