Overall Purpose of the Group
Clusters work best and become greater than the sum of their parts when they break down silos of knowledge and skills. Professionals practising within the IT sector in the North East can play an important role in helping the North East cluster to reach its full potential. In order for the North East’s technology cluster to truly grow in maturity, it is essential that the cluster develops an accessible professional services infrastructure that can readily provide its technology businesses with specialist advice on their doorstep.
Dynamo Professional creates a framework to allow professionals working within IT to expand their services and pursue common interests (such as referrals, joint venturing, access to expertise, developing regional expertise and technical information exchange). The network aims to play a role in connecting professionals (junior and senior) working in technology, encouraging networking and collaboration whilst lobbying government and other public sector bodies on behalf of professionals practising within the IT sector.
Key Aims & Objectives
- Connect network members to each other to encourage collaboration through referrals, joint venturing, access to multidisciplinary expertise, and technical information exchange
- Provide training and development opportunities to network members through an events programme
- Signpost specialist IT professional services to the North East technology community and to provide a platform for network members to position their business in the regional marketplace
- To lobby government and other public sector bodies on behalf of professionals service providers working within the IT sector.
