Crafty Cyber Eyes

We’re planning for #CyberFest 22 and are bringing our successful cyber security and art project back for its third year.

We are looking for participants from companies with an interest in cyber security to work with creative practitioners on the conjunction of art, technical and creativity to explore perspectives, visions and understanding of cyber security. The aim of the intervention is to leave participating businesses with a new creative way to think about their business and represent its values.

Time commitment and involvement will be as much as you feel able to give, though some time will be required to work out the focus of the project and give the artists an insight into cyber security.

This year’s Crafty Cyber Eyes intervention will span a 3-month period over summer 2022, including a physical workshop, starting the creative process and forming working teams to develop exciting ways to innovate, visualise, perform and represent cyber security.

The artworks, which could include crafts, painting, sculpture, poetry, ceramics, video and installation will be displayed throughout September as part of #CyberFest 22.

Once again, there has never been a greater time to investigate the role of creativity and the arts in cyber security. You can find out more about Cyber Eyes Wide Open 21 here.
