Digital marketers named as finalists in prestigious awards for generating £4.1m worth of business leads for client

A NORTH East digital marketing agency has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award in recognition of the ‘enviable’ return on investment (ROI) its team earned for one of its clients.

ROAR Digital Marketing, which specialises in SEO and PPC, implemented a highly effective Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategy for national pension consultants Spence and Partners, which helped generate the client additional business opportunity value in the region of £4.1m over the past year.

The campaign represents one of the most successful strategies implemented by ROAR, based at Cobalt Business Park, in Newcastle, as it resulted in a verified ROI of £4,100 for every £1 invested by the client – a Return of Ad Spend ratio of 4100:1.

The success of the SEM campaign has caught the attention of the judging panel at the prestigious UK Search Awards which has named ROAR and Spence as a finalist in the Best Integrated Campaign (Small) category in the upcoming awards ceremony.

Michael Knowles, the Managing Director of ROAR, said: “Our client Spence and Partners set us three goals of increasing their online visibility, increasing the number of quality leads it receives and then converting them into new customers, and we blew their expectations out of the water by securing an enviable ROI of £4,100 for every £1 they invested over a 12 month period – the equivalent of £4.1m in additional business opportunity value.

“This figure is well above the average industry standard and it showcases how effective our SEM practices were as our client was able to onboard numerous new customers from leads acquired through this campaign.

“We strive to achieve the best results possible for all of our clients, and we were thrilled that we were able to achieve such good success for Spence and Partners to ensure they were happy with the services we provided.

“It feels amazing that all the hard work and effort the team at ROAR have poured into this campaign behind the scenes has been recognised by the judges at such a high profile industry awards ceremony.”

As a result of ROAR’s detailed SEM campaign, Spence and Partners enjoyed a rapid rise to page one of Google search for a host of relevant pension and financial terms.

The campaign also resulted in an increase of traffic to its website by 34.6%, a rise in quality leads of 211%, a reduced bounce rate on its website of 19.5% and an improvement in time spent on site of 23.2%.

ROAR achieved this success through a number of methods including using its pioneering, trademarked SEO Bomb® to create more relevant content targeted directly at the right audience and implementing a robust analytics and tracking strategy to allow Spence to effectively follow up on quality leads.

Michael said: “We have enjoyed working with Spence and Partners and helping them accelerate the growth of their business, and we are delighted they have increased their investment in our services in recognition of the excellent results we are continually achieving.”

The UK Search Awards celebrate success in SEO, PPC and Content Marketing across the country. The winners will be announced in a ceremony in London on November 30.
