At the inaugural North East Marketing Awards 2018, Dynamo members, Cal Partners won the Agency of the Year (under 20 employees) category.
The awards took place on the evening of Thursday 18th October at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle and was attended by marketing industry leaders from across the region. As well as being finalists for the Agency of the Year Category, Cal Partners’ founder and director, Chris Lucarelli, was a finalist in the Marketing Director of the Year category.
The Awards recognise and celebrate the breadth and talent of the North East’s thriving marketing industry, including the thriving digital sector. The awards covered a wide range of categories including individual achievements from Rising Star of the Year to the Outstanding Achievement award, as well as different types and sizes of organisations ranging from in-house marketing teams to niche boutique agencies, as well as specific digital, brand, launch, not for profit and other campaigns. The prestige of the awards was reflected by the calibre of the extensive and diverse judging panel.
Commenting on the awards, Chris said: “To be recognised with such a prestigious award amidst the region’s marketing and digital marketing expertise is fantastic. We were up against industry leaders, some of which are working with national and indeed international clients. I am so grateful to the Cal Partners team and of course, our clients.”
The team at Cal Partners congratulate each of the finalists and winners who took part in the awards, as well as the organisers, Echo Events. The team are already looking forward to next year’s awards.
