AN AWARD-WINNING North East law firm is consolidating a successful start to the year with the appointment of a new Partner.
Head of Residential Conveyancing Emma Liddle has been promoted to Partner at Jesmond-based Mincoffs Solicitors.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Emma – who is a Chartered Legal Executive – has been pivotal in growing the service at the firm since she joined in 2013, with restructures to both the team and its processes.
This has included the introduction of paperless working and a focus on new technology in order to streamline the process for her 29-strong team.
The promotion takes the number of Partners at Mincoffs to 12 and Emma is looking forward to stepping into the role.
“It has been an incredibly tough couple of years for everyone involved in the property market, with the uncertainty of Brexit and the pandemic followed by a surge in demand bolstered by the stamp duty holidays,” she said.
“My team has put their all into their work, going from strength to strength and focusing on providing excellent customer service for our clients.
“I am delighted to be appointed to Partner and I hope to assist the firm as a whole so we can continue to grow and flourish.”
Andy Woodhouse, Chief Executive at Mincoffs, believes Emma’s promotion is a natural next step for the firm.
“Emma is fantastic at what she does and has been a driving force behind the growth of the residential conveyancing team,” he said.
“Taking on the role of Head of Residential Conveyancing at the start of the pandemic was certainly no mean feat and Emma took it in her stride to ensure that both the team and our clients received all the support they needed.
“The promotion to Partner is absolutely well deserved and reflects the hard work and dedication Emma has put in at the firm over the years.”
This is the latest in a string of promotions at Mincoffs, with Lydia McCaslin taking on the role of Head of Wills and Probate and the corporate team’s Daniel Bell and real estate’s Leanne Kettlewell becoming Associate Solicitors.
Mincoffs Solicitors has provided expert legal services and advice across the North East and beyond for more than 70 years.
Along with residential conveyancing, the firm’s services include corporate, commercial services, dispute resolution, employment law, licensing and gaming, real estate, family law and wills, probate and trusts.
