TechNExt Festival Fringe

The TechNExt Festival Fringe is a celebration of technology, innovation, and community-led events, designed for everyone. As we gear up for TechNExt 2024, we’re excited to invite individuals and organisations across the North East to join us for a week celebrating the best of North East Tech.

Last year, we saw over 50 events hosted by the region’s tech companies, big and small. It was a fantastic showcase of ideas, learning, and community engagement. This year, we’re looking to support even more events across the North East during the festival week and want to hear from tech companies, meetups and anyone interested in the region’s tech sector.

What’s On Offer?
TechNExt is committed to supporting events hosted by various organisations or individuals right across the North East. If you’re looking to host your own event, we’re able to support you with funding, TechNExt branding assets, and a spot in the wider festival program. Whether it’s a small workshop or a large seminar, as long as your event is free and aligns with our festival ethos, we want to hear from you.

Not Sure Where to Start?
No problem! If you have an idea but are unsure about the specifics like venue, speakers, or timing, the TechNExt team is here to help. We can assist in finding a venue, securing speakers, and advising on scheduling. Equally, if you have a venue to offer for free, we’d also love to hear from you.

How to Get Involved
Ready to be a part of something special? Submit your application for a fringe event and join a community eager to share, learn, and connect. Don’t miss this chance to contribute to our region’s vibrant tech scene. Visit our website for more details and to complete the application form.

Not ready to host? You can still help us spread the message! Here are the links to the TechNExt socials. Please Like/Share/Tag anyone who you think would like to get involved:
